Pine Needle Tea A traditional tea that has been enjoyed for millennia. Bursting with Vitamin C and Vitamin A. Break up the needles and steep in boiled water for 5-10 minutes. Great straight up, or with maple syrup and, to be honest, it is wildly delicious! We have been wild harvesting in Ontario and Quebec for decades and this tea is like bringing the restorative power of the forest home, in every cup. Ingredients:  Wild White Pine Needle Tips Info: 28 g (1 Oz) Resealable Pouch People have been drinking white pine needle tea in many parts of the world for ages, not only for respiratory tract ailments such as coughs, colds, sore throats, chest congestion, or bronchitis, but also for digestive or other issues. In addition to its antioxidant, decongestant, and expectorant properties, it's also high in vitamins C and A, which can help with eyesight, immunity, red cell production, fatigue... and, of course, scurvy! General brewing instructions:  Heat water to 175C to 185F / 80C to 85C. Steep for at least 5 minutes. May be rebrewed for two infusions.If using for vitamins, or as a herbal medicine, steep 10 minutes using one infusion. Gourmet hints:  Best unsweetened but nice with mild honey or maple syrup.
