Licorice root has been used for thousands of years in Eastern medicine for its soothing and decongestant properties. Adult Dosage

Cautions
Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have impaired kidney or liver functions, high blood pressure or heart disease or are a man with decreased libido. May be used up to four to six weeks. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have diabetes or hypokalemia or are taking any kind of hormonal therapies, diuretics, potassium depleting agents, or MAO inhibitors.
