Plant Sterols
Phytosterols have biomedical effects on animals and humans; they have been shown to modulate the immune system. All plants have them in small amounts, but unless one eats completely organic food, it's difficult to get a sufficient amount in today's diet, so supplementation is required. Immuno-Care contains 300mg of plant sterols, the amount research has shown to be an optimum daily dose, and an essential part of the human diet. It's extracted from soy (not from wood pulp, as some plant sterol products are), and produced in North America.
Enzogenol
A highly active, broad-spectrum mixture of anti-inflammatory plant compounds such as procyanidins and flavonoids which actively scavenge free radicals.
Cellasate
This proprietary blend of fruit and essential fatty acids from oil-producing seeds was specifically designed to increase the bioavailability and absorption of the other nutrients contained in Celt Naturals Immuno-Care at the cellular level.
Collectively, they all have a strong influence in balancing the immune system, especially in people with inflammatory conditions such as allergies and immune disorders (including Seasonal Allergies, Fibromyalgia, and Joint Pain & Stiffness) and Coughing & Wheezing, and Chronic Colds & Flu, and can also reduce the symptoms of an enlarged prostate (this is the reason it was originally developed) and may also be able to help manage High Cholesterol by reducing LDL and increasing HDL levels.

Each capsule contains:
300 mg Total Free Plant sterols (90% Phytosterols)
50 mcg Selenium
50 mg Grape Seed Procyanidins (Vitis vinifera) (95% Procyanidins)
20 mg Bovine Colostrum
10 mg Flax (Linum usitatissimum L.)
10 mg Stem bromelain (360,000 FCC PU)
5 mg AT Vitamin E
10 mg Zinc (picolinate)
Non-medicinal ingredients: Rice bran, silicon dioxide.
Ingredients are derived from non-genetically modified soy, procyanidins from grape seeds, fruit, essential fatty acids from oil producing seeds, in a 100% vegetable derived capsule.
Immuno-Care contains no gluten, sugar, barley, wheat, yeast, artificial colourings or preservatives.
Suggested Usage:
As a dietary supplement adults can take one capsule up to three times a day, away* from food, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications.
* Take ONE HOUR BEFORE A MEAL, ON AN EMPTY STOMACH, as fat inhibits the absorption of beta sitosterol. Similarly, capsules should be taken with juice or water and NOT with milk or drinks containing fat.
Warnings:
Do not take if you are an organ transplant recipient; or if you have a known allergy/hypersensitivity to cow's milk.
Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; or if you have a gastrointestinal lesion/ulcer; or if you are taking anticoagulant/blood thinners, or an anti-inflammatory or antibiotics; or if you are having surgery.
Hypersensitivity/allergy has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use.
