This certified organic D-Mannose powder will meet the discriminating needs of the health and environmentally-conscious consumer. D-Mannose is a simple sugar that occurs naturally in some plants, including cranberries and other fruits. Although the human body metabolizes small amounts of D-Mannose, much of it is rapidly excreted in the urine. In the bladder, D-Mannose may adhere to undesirable foreign substances, preventing them from sticking to the lining of the bladder and helping to reduce the risk of recurrent UTIs.
