Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you are taking antibiotics or nitroglycerin. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a liver or kidney disorder, iron deficiency, diabetes, or if you have kidney stones, if you are taking prescription medications (as bioflavonoids may alter the effectiveness of these medications) or medications for blood pressure, seizure or diabetes or if symptoms persist or worsen. If you have liver disorder symptoms of low estrogen (such as joint pain, mood changes, changes in libido, hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness or irregular menstruation), consult a health care practitioner prior to use. Stop use and consult a health care practitioner if you develop symptoms of liver trouble such as yellowing of the
skin/eyes (jaundice), stomach pain, dark urine, sweating, nausea, unusual tiredness and/or loss of appetite. If you experience sweating, paleness, chills, headache, dizziness and/or confusion, discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner (as these may be symptoms of serious low blood sugar). Rare, unpredictable cases of liver injury associated with green tea extract-containing products have been reported (in Canada and internationally). Stop use if hypersensitivity occurs. May cause mild gastrointestinal discomfort (such as gas, bloating, cramps).
