How does carb block with Phase 2™ help with weight loss?
Over the past few years as fat intake has dropped, carbohydrate consumption has increased. An average diet in North America provides almost 50% of total calories from carbohydrates. Also increasing carb consumption has been the rates of diabetes and obesity. Foods containing starchy carbohydrates, such as potatoes, pasta, bread, and grains, such as white rice, which have been refined, have a high glycemic index.
