What are our candles made of?
Our candles are made from 100% vegetable Soy and Coconut waxes, which are biodegradable and vegan. It's an environmentally friendly solution that is beneficial for your health and home. It has numerous advantages that allow us to create high-quality candles.
Soy and Coconut waxes are produced without pesticides or herbicides. They have a low melting point and are odourless, thus avoiding any alteration of our candles' fragrances. The combustion of this wax blend is uniform and emits no toxic substances. The wax will completely melt, leaving virtually no residue on the container. Cleaning the containers is simply done with hot water and soap.
The wicks are made of 100% lead-free, chlorine-free natural cotton fibres.
The quality of the materials used for the wick is crucial. We have opted for cotton wicks for better durability, thereby avoiding any potential toxic emissions thanks to the natural fibres.
Our fragrances are delicate and long-lasting, without phthalates or CMRs (carcinogenic, mutagenic, and toxic to reproduction).
The fragrances used in our candles are subtle and diffuse a pleasant scent without being overpowering. You will smell the fragrances as well when cold as during combustion. Moreover, the scents disperse in the air throughout the candle's lifespan and not just during the first few hours. For our fragrances, we offer traditional fruity, floral scents as well as unique woody scents selected by highly renowned European perfumers. Our candle fragrances are developed according to strict specifications complying with French and European legislation, in accordance with environmentally and human-friendly specifications (without CMRs and phthalates) and are not tested on animals.
Our containers are made of concrete and aluminum.
Our candles are poured into concrete containers, intended to be reused in the home, or into aluminum containers ideal for transportation, which can also be recycled indefinitely.
How to use our candles Journey From Home?
Some Useful Tips:
1. Burn your candle for 1 to 2 hours during its first use, allowing the entire surface to liquefy, The maximum burning time recommended per session is 4 hours.
2. Trim the wick approximately 6 mm from the wax before each use.
3. Make sure to center the wick after each use.
4. Stop using when there is only I cm of wax left.
5. Recycle your pot to give it a second life: the endless possibilities are up to you!
Warning:
Remove all packaging before lighting the candle. Always place the candle in a safe non-flammable location. NEVER LEAVE A BURNING CANDLE UNATTENDED. Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets. Keep the wax pool clear of debris to avoid flaring. Always allow it to cool down before moving. Ensure the container is undamaged. The container will become hot during use. The container is not suitable for food or drink use.
What to reuse our container?
When the candle is emptied of its wax, the glass container can still be useful: a pencil holder, flower pot, or pocket box.
