Carb-Block with Phase 2™
Carb Block with Phase2™ is an all-natural, non-stimulant white kidney bean extract. It is the first carbohydrate blocker clinically proven in multiple studies to delay the digestion and absorption of carbohydrates. This, in turn, reduces the caloric impact of starchy foods and also lowers the glycemic index.
- Neutralizes Starch Calories
- Prevents Starch calorie conversion into Glucose
- Directs the Body to Burn Fat
- Delays the Absorption of Carbohydrates
- Contains non-GMO white kidney beans
How does carb block with Phase 2™ help with weight loss?
Over the past few years as fat intake has dropped, carbohydrate consumption has increased. An average diet in North America provides almost 50% of total calories from carbohydrates. Also increasing carb consumption has been the rates of diabetes and obesity. Foods containing starchy carbohydrates, such as potatoes, pasta, bread, and grains, such as white rice, which have been refined, have a high glycemic index. That means they will spike insulin levels as high as white sugar will. When blood sugar is high the body will store carbs as fat.
The pancreas produces a starch-digesting enzyme called “alpha-amylase,” which converts starch into glucose (sugar). Calories from sugar are either burned, by activity, or stored as fat cells, when there is not enough activity to burn them. PHASE 2™ binds with alpha-amylase, thereby “neutralizing” starch calories and preventing their conversion into glucose, and the ensuing storage as fat cells in the body. Safe, non-stimulant, carbohydrate control produces weight loss by reducing body fat, not muscle. Phase 2 has no known side effects, or drug interactions. It is backed up by clinical research done with humans.
