How it Works:
What Makes Renew & Protect So Effective?
Omega-3s and Omega-6: Maintaining a balance in omega-3s and -6s is key to overall health and wellness. While omega-6s are often given a bad rap, they are necessary, and some, including GLA, have beneficial properties including supporting skin hydration. The omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA are sourced from wild anchovies, sardines, mackerel, and herring. They are from sustainably managed fisheries and meet high standards of quality and purity. EPA and DHA have been shown to increase the skin’s sunburn threshold, improve the skin barrier function and improve roughness and redness.
Carotenoids (Lutein + Zeaxanthin): Carotenoids play an important role as antioxidants protecting the skin against free radicals formed by external (environmental) and internal (physiological, bodily function) stressors. They cannot be made by the body and must be supplied by external means such as diet or supplementation. Lutein and zeaxanthin benefit the skin by increasing the skin’s defence against free radicals generated by UV exposure and supporting skin hydration, elasticity, and firmness.
Vitamin D3: Most of us don’t obtain enough vitamin D in our daily routines – Renew + Protect has you covered. This necessary vitamin helps in the development of bones and the maintenance of bone structure, which becomes increasingly important as we age.
This is the Bend Beauty product we recommend as the starting point because of the diverse array of impactful benefits this formula offers. Renew + Protect is an effective and unique blend of ingredients designed to help you create a beautiful life – which starts with taking care of yourself.
Renew + Protect is our foundational formula for a reason – it targets multiple aspects of skin health important for maintaining function and integrity and reduces the impact of environmental stressors to which your skin is constantly exposed to, such as UV radiation. In addition, ingesting Renew + Protect does not merely treat the skin on your face – it’s a total body skin health supplement that treats your entire skin, head to toe.
