Trophic Non-Dairy Acidophilus Plus helps to improve intestinal microflora by promoting proper digestion and elimination. It is a live microbial food or dietary supplement that beneficially affects a person by improving their intestinal microbial balance and therefore, their nutritional health and well-being. The friendly microorganisms in Acidophilus Plus pass through the stomach and implant themselves in the intestine. Probiotics help to improve lactose digestion, skin health and mitigate the detrimental effects of antibiotic therapies. It also protects against the colonization of harmful bacteria and yeast, thereby aiding the immune system.

Ascorbic acid, magnesium stearate, maltodextrin, gelatin.
Directions:
Children (1 to 6 years of age), adolescents and adults, take 1-6 capsules daily or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Take at least 2-3 hours before or after taking antibiotics.

Cautions and Warnings:
Discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms of digestive upset (e.g. diarrhea) occur, worsen or persist beyond 3 days.
Contraindications:
Do not use if you are experiencing nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea or severe abdominal pain or if you have an immune compromised condition (e.g. AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment).
