Feature Summary
Propolis is a type of antimicrobial glue that bees make from the resins of trees. It is rich in nutrients, such as magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, beta-carotene, bioflavonoids, and vitamins B1 and B2. It is also a concentrated source of antioxidants called bioflavonoids, which are known for strengthening capillary walls and connective tissue and enhancing vitamin C absorption. It is traditionally used in herbal medicine to help relieve minor inflammations and lesions in mucous membranes, such as canker sores.
Propolis is a very safe ingredient with no side effects or interactions. Unlike many antibiotics, it does not destroy the good bacteria living in the digestive tract.

Recommended use
Traditionally used in herbal medicine to help relieve minor inflammations and sores of mucous membranes of the mouth (e.g., canker sores). Provides antioxidants for the maintenance of good health.
Recommended dose
Recommended adult dose: Antioxidant: 9 drops 2 times daily before mealtime or as directed by a health care practitioner. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 1 month.
Cautions
Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are allergic to bee products, poplar tree products, or balsam of Peru, if symptoms persist or worsen, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Hypersensitivity, such as allergy, has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use immediately. Keep out of reach of children.
