Non-medicinal ingredients
Non-GMO sunflower oil, softgel (gelatin, glycerin, purified water, carob), yellow beeswax, non-GMO sunflower lecithin.


Suggested Use

  • Used in herbal medicine to help fight off infections, especially of the upper respiratory tract.
  • Supportive therapy in the treatment of upper respiratory infections (e.g., common colds).
  • Helps to relieve the symptoms and shorten the duration of upper respiratory tract infections.

Recommended dose

Recommended adult dose: 1 softgel 3 times daily or as directed by a health care practitioner. For acute needs, 1 softgel every 2–3 hours up to 4 times daily or as directed by a health care practitioner. Take at the first sign of infection. To avoid digestive upset, take with food. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 6 weeks.

Cautions

Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, are taking immunosuppressants, have an immune disorder, an auto-immune disorder, a liver disorder, or a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, collagenosis, or multiple sclerosis. Rare cases of severe allergic reaction have been known to occur; use caution if you are allergic to plants of the daisy family. Dizziness, irritated skin, rash, nausea, and diarrhea have been known to occur, in which case discontinue use. Do not use if you have hypokalemia, high blood pressure, a kidney or cardiovascular disorder, or are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives, or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance.
