Berberine TPGS is a well-researched orthomolecular combination of ingredients designed to provide a significantly higher Berberine coefficient of absorption and utilization.
Berberine is a natural alkaloid present in several plants, such as Goldenseal, Oregon grape, Barberry, and Chinese Goldthread. It has been widely researched for its beneficial role in supporting healthy glucose metabolism. Berberine TPGS helps support this natural metabolism in part by activating AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK), an important biological pathway that helps signal the body to efficiently utilize cellular energy.
Advanced Delivery System
Standard Berberine is often poorly absorbed across the gut wall and can be degraded by stomach acids. Berberine TPGS solves this by utilizing delayed-release (DR) capsules to minimize the impact of stomach acids. It also features a specialized support blend that significantly improves natural absorption, bioavailability, and utilization. As a result, lower dosages of Berberine are needed to achieve optimal efficacy, which also reduces the probability of gastrointestinal discomfort.
Recommended Dose
Adults: Take 2 capsules once daily.
Directions: Take without food (preferably on an empty stomach).
